Trojan Virus Targeting Skype Users On Windows

For all those who are using Windows, there is a trojan virus being passed around through Skype. It comes in the form of a chat message and looks like this:

                        lol is this your new profile pic? http://goo.gl/f8p21?profile=<skype_id>

Do not open it because it will affect all your skype contacts. If you have already opened it,  use the following instructions to remove it:

Simply go into your Skype, select the Tools menu. When the dialog box opens, click Advanced and then finally at the bottom of that page click “Manage other programs’ access to Skype”. In there you will find an option with a random letter and number combination (example: D78.exe). Click on that and remove it.

There are an estimated 300 billion email messages sent each day and since there about 1.75 billion email users, that averages out to about 168 emails per user.

Now, I am sure there are some people who get that much email but the average user probably only receives that many per month.

So where is the rest of the email coming from? One word. Spam.

ZOL Startup Challenge: And The Winner is… MUKELA

Congratulations to Team Mukelawho are the winners of the inaugural ZOL Startup Challenge which was held over the last month in Harare.

In what was a tight competition Mukela walked away with the USD5,000 in cash as well as USD5,000 in Internet services from ZOL. Sadomba-Mahari and SoftwareHouse were joint second walking away with $2,500 cash and the same amount in Internet services. Ribe Networks came in at fourth place and ZOL will be providing it with a range of Internet services. Funza, the fifth finalist did not present at the finals.
